WHY IT EXISTS

Skrean was built as a home for The Edge, an independent post-apocalyptic feature currently in development. When the financing moved slower than planned, Skrean shifted into something of its own: a digital grindhouse for forgotten genre cinema, with a mission that now runs parallel to the film.

The two projects fund each other. Every Patron keeps the servers running, pays for storage and bandwidth, and contributes directly to The Edge getting made. That was not the original plan. It became the plan.

WHAT COMES NEXT

More films. Not just public domain. Indie horror, cult genre, post-2000 work that fell through the cracks of the streaming wars. Curated, never algorithmic. When licensed titles and original productions join the catalog, they will be Patron-only. Those who support now keep their seat at the table forever, at the same price.
