Janice Starlin built a cosmetics empire on her own face, and now the wrinkles are killing the brand. So she lets a backroom scientist pump her full of wasp enzymes, because nothing says self-care like insect glands. The youth comes back. So does something with mandibles. Corman shot it in days for pocket change, and it shows in the best way: a creature feature about vanity that bites down hard. Drive-in poison about a woman who wanted to stay beautiful and grew a stinger instead.
