This is the Privacy Policy of Skrean | an Aegir Studio intitiative (operated by Frankie Doguet) (hereafter referred to as “Skrean”, “us” or “we”). This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you use our streaming service, Skrean.co (the “Service”). Local Storage

We use localStorage (a browser-based storage technology) to manage key functionalities of our service, including:

• Authentication tokens for user login and session management;
• Cookie consent preferences (whether you have accepted analytics);

This data is only stored on your device and is never transmitted to our servers. It is essential for the proper operation of the service.

Analytics

We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics platform that does not use cookies or collect personal information. It helps us understand how users interact with Skrean so we can improve the service and fairly compensate rights holders.

The data collected is fully anonymized and includes metrics such as page views, referrer, device type, and browser language. No personal or identifiable information is stored or shared.

Hosting & Performance Monitoring

Skrean is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, and we use Cloudflare Insights to monitor performance, uptime, and basic usage statistics. These metrics are anonymized and do not include personally identifiable information.

Content Delivery: Our blog content is managed via Sanity.io, a headless CMS that may deliver data directly to your browser from their servers.

EMAILS

When you create an account, you will receive certain emails essential for the operation of your account.

• Transactional Emails: When you first create an account, we may send you a welcome email. If you make a purchase, we will send you a confirmation. We may also send you other emails concerning your account status, such as payment confirmations or password reset links. You may not opt out of these essential transactional emails.
